Update On The Amenity Center: According to the February Meeting Minutes, the DistrictEngineer informed Brian Howell, the CDD property manager, that there was not and area available to erect an amenity center. Mr. Howell suggested the CDD reach out to Taylor Morrison to donate a parcel of land since the new building would be an asset for their sales. The Board directed Mr. Howell to contact Taylor Morrison and report back at the next meeting.
The CDD supervisors have voted to consider an amenity center within the District. The District Manager has stated (May 2014 meeting minutes) that it would cost approximately $250,000. The District Manager said the center could be paid for with a 15 to 30 year note. Links to the minutes will be added as they become available. The supervisors have not asked if the members want an amenity center nor have they asked for a feasibility study.
